I thought this was cool: Last week, we received more evidence for what a lot of us already intuit: Physical activity in nature helps prevent several diseases; including major depressive disorder, type 2 diabetes, ischaemic heart disease, ischaemic stroke, colon cancer, and breast cancer. According to new research out of the University of Exeter, this amounts to the prevention of almost 13,000 cases of non-communicable diseases a year in England, alone. So… get out on your bikes this week if you can, and cite this nugget to any obstructionists you might have in your life.
